Catamount Community Radio - July 13, 2008

I hadn't planned it, but on the spur of the moment I decided to continue the cover contest this week, this time with a couple of twists. For example I played Ike and Tina Turner's original version of "Nutbush City Limits," and asked which iconic Detroit rocker covered it on his live album.

Today we also celebrated Dandy's 50th (who else turns 50 this summer? Prince, Madonna and Michael Jackson, that's who). I read some of Jim's words of wisdom over the airwaves.

Armchair Philosophy

I love that picture of you on the airborne tobaggon, even if I did take it myself. Proof that even then, we were destined for things!

Re: Armchair Philosophy

Gosh, Jim Dandy, I'm not even done fiddling with the entry, and there's already a comment! But thanks! And great photo by the way, even if it's of me!

Re: Armchair Philosophy

Are ya done yet? Are ya done yet? Are ya done yet?

Re: Armchair Philosophy

OK, now I'm done.
