Catamount Community Radio - February 7, 2016

Lying in bed at 7:30 on a Sunday morning, I ask myself, why do I do this? I wouldn't mind just lounging here a little bit longer. I think I like the thought of creating something, even if that something is as ephemeral as a radio show. I also like the thought of hipping people to music that I think they should hear. A little self-centered, but I'm a little bit self-centered. It's cool to be able to play whatever you feel like playing. I am also very fond of routine. It's my Sunday morning. Then head to the office to listen to Glen and X.Ray.

RIP Maurice White. Three from Earth, Wind, and Fire.

"Sir" Van Morrison. One from him.

A couple more from Bowie, including "Fame" which features a riff that James Brown borrowed. Usually it's the other way around, think of the "Funky Drummer" beat.
