2 x 3 x 7

I want to formally and publicly apologize to you for any time I teased you for not getting any obscure references that I made in my blogs and journals. Things I have posted, while deliberately vague, but seemingly obvious (to me), are usually and apparently media oriented and within my personal realms of expertise. Therefore, I feel no shame in now acknowledging that I have no clue whatsoever about sports.
That said, and not even looking for an answer, (I could probably skip this whole thing by googling it and pretending that I am smarter than I am), I have no idea what this #42 Dodger pic means to you.
But, I am ecstatic that it means enough to you and your "sports savvy" friends, that you would post it!
"Go Dodgers! yay team!"

Re: 2 x 3 x 7

Dandy!

I laugh at myself when I don't get your references, I confess to being pretty clueless at times. Apology accepted with a smile!

It was 60 years ago today that Jackie Robinson broke the color line in major league baseball. Before that, whites only. He endured a lot of taunting and racist bullshit.

So today, lots of baseball players were wearing #42 to commemorate that. (and that's also why Spike Lee often wears a Brooklyn Dodger cap).

Love ya, bro.

Well that is very cool!
As it said on the plaque on the statue on the campus of Animal House..."Knowledge Is Good"
